    • Senior Creative
      Aug 2010 - Oct 2023 · 13 yrs 3 mos

I led creative teams to support the launch and the ongoing promotion of key programs. We ensured content stayed on brief, while engaging and growing audiences. I have years of experience in conceptualising, developing and bringing ideas to life on screen for promotional campaigns. In this role I use a number of skills: writing, producing, directing, editing, and leadership. As a senior member of the creative unit, I was often required to step up and oversee teams. I worked across multiple programs and multiple genres, including reality, drama, movies, entertainment, factual, and news and public affairs.

    • Producer/Editor ‘Sunrise’
      Dec 2002 - Aug 2010 · 7 yrs 9 mos

I'm to blame for giving Australia the Cash Cow. I hired a cow costume to promote a cash giveaway, and the rest is history. My time at Sunrise was hugely rewarding, professionally and personally. My role began in 2002 as the editor for the ‘non-news’ components of the show. This included feature and entertainment stories, lifestyle and cooking segments and promos. After not too long, my job expanded to include field producing. In the role of field producer, I had some of my life’s greatest experiences. I travelled the world to LA, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Beijing, Ireland, Italy and Finland. However my life’s greatest achievements (outside the birth of my kids!) were for two very special assignments: climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and completing the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea. During my time, the department expanded with the launch of ‘The Morning Show’ and ‘Weekend Sunrise’. I was in charge of the overall editing department. A job which included recruitment, training and rostering.
