But here's the real story… The Beginning: My parents crossed borders from Colombia while I was still in the womb—chasing the American Dream from Pereira to Cleveland to NYC. They worked day jobs while I bounced between caretakers. I learned early: community isn't nice to have. It's survival. The Struggle: I was academically dismissed from college. Twice. Across 14 years and 3 universities. The second time, I watched my mother cry in secret after finding out. Something fundamental shifted. The Rebuild: Found a "New Start" program that ignored my failing record. Joined tribes that expanded what I thought was possible. Graduated with Honors. Became VP of University-wide Student Government. Enacted actual policy reform for transfer students—people who walked the same hard path I did. The Pattern: Enter chaos. Find the system. Build the bridge. Create momentum. That pattern has defined everything since. The Work: Moved to DC. Joined Global Entrepreneurship Network. Led programs at Techstars, 1863 Ventures, and others. Now I support founders across 170+ countries—connecting them with the mentors, investors, and peers they need to reach their full potential. Co-authored books on exponential organizations. Built programs, launched communities, failed forward, learned by doing. The Pivot: Then, my son was born. I took a parenting hiatus because legacy isn't just what you build—it's who you are and what you leave behind. Now I'm back. Building again. What I Do Today: 1. Building: I am exploring full-time operational roles (COO, Head of Ops, Forward Deployed Engineer) where I can leverage AI and systems-thinking to scale processes and efficiency. 2. Advising: Through my fractional work, I help a select handful of organizations build talent bridges and optimize revenue operations. 3.
