The E-DA Skylark Hotel is a 4-star, family-friendly hotel located within the expansive E-Da World entertainment and shopping complex in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Designed with a British neo-classical architectural style, the hotel offers a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere for guests. My responsibilities at the Skylark Hotel Banquet : - Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner. - Transporting prepared food from the chefs to the serving tables. - Helping guests with their needs and providing general assistance during banquet events. - Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude. - Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations , napkins, service plates, and utensils.
Company Overview: Hongda Distribution is the primary logistics provider for PX Mart (全聯福利中心). Developed in collaboration with Japanese logistics experts from Mitsubishi Chemical (EMC), the Guanyin Center is one of Taiwan’s largest and most advanced distribution hubs, utilizing a high-efficiency "Cross-Docking" operational model. Worked as a manual laborer in a high-speed distribution center for PX Mart, performing physical tasks to ensure the daily delivery of goods including Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), household essentials, and high-value inventory to retail stores. - Order Picking & Fulfillment: Used handheld scanners to accurately pick items across various specialized zones (including household goods, snacks, and high-value items), ensuring correct quantities and SKU matching before conveyor transport. - Inventory Replenishment: Responsible for restocking stations from bulk pallets, verifying product codes against names to prevent inventory errors, and coordinating with the management team for forklift support. - Logistics Preparation: Facilitated the start of the picking line by prepping distribution totes with unique tracking barcodes and managing the physical flow of containers onto the conveyor system. - Zonal Operations: Adapted to different product categories and handling requirements across multiple warehouse sections, maintaining high speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
