I've spent 15 years working my way through the world of retail. After stepping down from my managerial position with Lowe's to care for my wife when she had to have major surgery I realized that retail was no longer for me. I still work part-time shipping and receiving internet orders, but in 2012 I began my new career path of sports journalist. I've been watching sports for my entire life and have been writing in my spare time for most of my adult like, so it felt like the right move. Since beginning I have worked for blog sites such as eDraft sports and Swingin' A's as well as writing freelance for Bay Area News Group and writing for my college papers. At 35-years-old I am stepping into a new world of sports full-time looking to make an impact in a new field like I have been doing in retail for 15 years. Twitter: @sluke26 email: [email protected]
