Assisting in administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, order management, and order tracking. Helping and introducing potential customers to the Louisville Tile showroom. Assisting with price checks and tile information. Handling inventory management and organization. Creating daily cash reports for accounting and management. Making daily bank deposits while maintaining and insuring accurate deposit amount. Reporting and finding any discrepancies in the daily cash report. Maintaining supplies levels for the branch, including warehouse materials. Assisting with accounting issues such as past due payments, credits, and branch expenses.
My responsibilities at the Coker Museum include updating the website to insure accurate merchandise available, emailing customers to inform them of ongoing promotions, follow up emails to insure customer satisfaction with purchases. As a museum attendant I have extensive knowledge of museum pieces. When touring a group through the museum I insure the customers enjoy the duration of their visit and engage in age appropriate conversation with a variety of customers. Additionally, my responsibilities extended to checking out customers in a way that insures a positive customer experience, assisting customers with locating merchandise, setting up seasonal promotions to drive product sales, improving the placement of merchandise in a manner that is visually appealing to the customer, handling cash drawer procedures, counting the cash safe to insure the appropriate amount of cash is stored, and managing inventory to keep the correct number of product on the floor.
