I help manage digital royalty data analytics for all of Music Services’ 200+ clients. This involves import and review of data reported from licensees each quarter. Additionally, I coordinate with the label team on data conversion of sales reports for processing, and with the publishing team on manual royalty data entry.
I work closely with publishing clients in the aspect of copyright management, royalty distribution, and general song management. This includes granting copyright permission to customers for the use of a publishers song, paying artists/songwriters royalties that are generated from the use of their songs, and song set up and registration with PRO's, the copyright office, etc.
As an intern, I helped with the day to day business activities associated with music licensing. This included assisting the catalogue managers, balancing registers, creating products within a database, and answering questions that customers had.
