I’m a second-year Biology student at Stony Brook University, specializing in Neuroscience with an interest in dentistry and research. I'm involved in the Pre-Dental Club, South Asian Student Alliance (SASA), and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF), where I serve in worship. With over 10 years of experience as a musician, I bring creativity, discipline, and a passion for connection into everything I do. I’m also deeply interested in volunteering, physical fitness, and literature, and I’m always seeking opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.

As Praise and Worship Lead, I guided the musical and spiritual direction of our fellowship gatherings by leading worship through both vocals and piano. I worked to create an atmosphere that encouraged participation, reflection, and community, while coordinating with fellow members to select and arrange music that aligned with our events. This role allowed me to develop leadership, collaboration, and performance skills while fostering a meaningful space for student fellowship and growth.

Provide one-on-one and small-group support by breaking down complex problem-solving strategies, guiding students through exam-style questions, and adapting explanations to different learning styles. Support student success by strengthening conceptual understanding and analytical reasoning skills.
Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Mobbs Lab, Department of Neuroscience Dr. Charles Mobbs Project Title: Development of Novel Small Molecules to Treat Periodontitis I’m currently pursuing an independent research project focused on developing novel small-molecule therapies for periodontitis, integrating bioinformatics, AI/machine learning, and pharmacology with dental science. My work, alongside Dr. Charles Mobbs, explores how gene-expression signatures associated with aging and inflammation can be computationally analyzed to identify small molecules that delay or reverse pathological changes in gum tissue. By applying transcriptomic analysis and AI-driven drug discovery concepts, I aim to bridge systems biology and translational dentistry, with the long-term goal of developing more targeted, disease-modifying therapies for oral inflammatory conditions. This project has strengthened my interest in computational medicine, drug discovery, and the intersection of AI and clinical healthcare, particularly in dentistry and age-related diseases.
