Intensive course using primarily military topics to build and enhance student’s general and academic English skills. Equal focus on the primary skills of speaking, reading, writing and listening. Main responsibilities include curriculum design, material development, course planning and scheduling, assessment creation and preparation and evaluating student’s progress and improvement. Communication and cooperation with team members is vital for the overall success of this course. Team leader for a substantial curriculum redesign.
Responsible for the day to day operation of the gallery as well as the scheduling and planning of future exhibitions and events. Directly responsible for all communication with foreign artists and the procurement of foreign art. Worked actively with designers and architects to find unique and appropriate artists or art to be incorporated into their projects. Constantly sought ways to present an artist’s work in an engaging and stimulating manner. Successfully curated eight exhibitions including a booth for the Art Beijing international art fair. Responsible for student level assessment, material development and actively tracking student’s progress through their course. Assisted in interviewing, hiring, training and observing teaching staff. Assumed all managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Service Manager.
Taught classes ranging from 1 to 12 students. Primary focus was interactive communicative teaching combined with grammar structures and vocabulary to create a situational learning experience designed to maximize student talking time.
