• Manage diverse teams of 20-50 people including university students, newcomers to Canada, and long-term workers. • Train employees new to the job on proper protocol and how to succeed at their task at hand. • Inspect and calibrate production equipment pre-shift, troubleshoot problems and complete minor repairs to maintain functionality; affected equipment is removed as necessary. • Monitor equipment, supply levels, and coordinate manpower to meet expected demand. • Implement the most efficient production plan and oversee daily production output by performing periodic counts to verify outgoing orders through use of MaxIMS software. • Learn new techniques, processes, and the operation of new machinery quickly and efficiently. • Operate barcode scanners and label printers to guarantee that all products are accounted for. • Promote workplace efficiency by ensuring that operation of machinery and processes are being followed according to the established protocols. • Cultivate communication among senior managers and floor supervisors to encourage optimal productivity and to highlight where improvement can occur. • Exceed quality and sanitation scores on consistent basis by diligently following production orders, the established protocols, and maintaining company standards.
