Bayou Manor is a continuing care retirement community, serving the senior adults of Houston since 1963.
Houston's oldest retirement facility, Holly Hall serves up to 200 residents in 89 Independent Living cottages and apartments, 56 Assisted Living apartments and 50 Licensed Nursing units. I provided leadership during a major construction and renovation project that repositioned 93 residential units to 195 units; I planned and initiated the fill-up period of Independent and Assisted Living buildings, increasing census from 85 to 135 residents; I managed during the 2009 economic downturn that negatively impacted the facility's investment portfolio used to fund operations; I recruited and developed management and support team members consisting of eight department directors and 105 team members.
Kruse Village is a retirement community in Brenham, Texas with 106 Independent Living cottages and apartments, 52 Assisted Living apartments and 65 Medicare and Medicaid Nursing beds. I planned and oversaw the addition of 27 cottages, increasing inventory by 50%; Kruse Village achieved 100% occupancy in all areas during my administration.
of Training Resources, I facilitated the education of Health System leaders to use Six Sigma management tools resulting in multiple process improvements, including the licensed nurse education process and hospital visitation procedures.
