At Brussels Airport, I am responsible for Data governance, strategy & analytics, covering 80+ internal and partner-related data domains. I lead a diverse team of close to 30 colleagues, including data analysts, BI developers, data engineers, data product and portfolio owners, data scientists, data governance specialists and a data architect. My team's mission is to enable anyone in our organization with easy to use, trusted and valuable AI & Data products. Before joining Brussels Airport, I led a centralized team of BI developers and Data Analytics engineers as direct report to the CFO of Lineas. This team served the business and all its functions with ever improving insights into their performance. In this role I also owned the company's profitability and product P&L model. Although data has been a common thread throughout my career, I have worked in many different fields, ranging from project, program & change management, M&A consulting, engineering and operations. Change management and continuous improvement are absolute passions of mine. I strongly believe in employee empowerment through feedback, coaching and delegation. Earlier I was PMO lead of the Transformation Office at Greenyard Group Headquarters in Belgium. I supported our leadership team and the local management, PMO and project teams in the areas of Operational Excellence and Performance, Project & Change management. As Group Change Manager at Ontex I managed the change roadmap for key projects within the Ontex group including post-merger integration, business transformation and operational excellence projects across Europe and Latin America. Previously I worked at EY in the field of M&A, Integration, Divestment and Separation. I mainly dealt with the broad operational aspects of M&A. Examples include operational due diligence, business turnaround and transformation, pre- and post-deal support, change management, integration/separation planning, restructuring, outsourcing and synergy quantification and realization. Before joining EY, I held different operational and managerial positions at DuPont de Nemours. I worked for this chemical company in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. I led the production and warehousing team at DuPont’s Hytrel® plant in Luxembourg and had an earlier assignment as first-line supervisor at a hazardous automotive paint production plant in Belgium. I graduated from the University of Ghent as an Electrical Engineer, but I also hold an executive MBA from Vlerick Business School. I am a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Data Scientist.

As direct report to CFO of largest privatized rail cargo group in Europe, I led a centralized team of Data Analytics engineers & BI developers creating and sharing insights on all operational, commercial & financial aspects of the business. In this role I also owned the company's profitability and product P&L model.
Responsible for implementing Corporate Performance Management at Lineas. This includes setting up the right tools and practices that provide Lineas with the most relevant and actionable insights across all levels of the company, linking operational indicators and initiatives to their financial impact.
As PMO lead of the Transformation Office at Greenyard Group's HQ in Belgium I supported the company leadership, local management, PMO and project teams in the areas of Operational Excellence and Performance, Project & Change management. Through strict monitoring and constructive challenging of a very substantial portfolio of savings initiatives, the Transformation Office was able to achieve its ambitious targets for the financial year ending in March 2020. Besides managing the entire portfolio I had a more hands-on role in leading key Operational Excellence initiatives in Germany, Greenyard's biggest market.

Project examples: - I worked on the carve-out and turnaround of a commodity chemicals business unit generating €2.5 Bio in revenue before and after its acquisition by a private equity firm. I supported the global PMO and helped identify and implement long-term improvements to the bottom-line (The Netherlands) - European coordination role in the integration of a globally active European Chemicals firm into a US headquartered multinational (deal value: $2.8 Bio) (Belgium & The Netherlands) - I led a team of 10+ consultants working on separation/carve-out preparation and standalone costing for a major player in the pharma and agrochemicals industry (deal value: >> $1 Bio) (Germany)
