Retail Merchandising for all large format supermarkets in the 5 Boroughs of Metro NY and Long Island. Communicate sales trends to department managers and owner groups. Report and correct out of stock conditions. "Cut-In" new items, quality control, implement plan-o-grams, rotate product, check pricing, present profitable opportunities. Coordinate promotions within my territory.
Merchandiser Field Representative. Merchandising and Ad Hoc selling to supermarkets in Nassau and Suffolk Counties in New York. Verify proper presentation of the product lines we represented in the market and encourage managers to carry wider varieties. Maintained appropriate inventory controls to limit out of stocks and voids on shelf. Brands included Lipton Iced Tea, Friendship Dairies, Shadybrook Farms, and Polly-O.
