Graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of West of Scotland, I now have over 10 years experience in the civil industry. Starting my career in Scotland I worked across a range of engineering projects including housing developments, schools, apartment blocks to hospitals. After moving to Australia in late 2011 I specialised in Civil Estimating. As Senior Estimator I have worked on tendering a host of projects across Western Australia including local government and Tier 1 clients. I made the change to working in asphalt to head up a bid team for BGC for the Hong Kong third runway project. This has given me the opportunity to tender international works, dealing with suppliers, freight companies and potential sub-contractors from across the globe.
