HR leader on a Corporate project to develop a roadmap for The City of Calgary's Enterprise Resources Planning software. - Defining the vision, objectives, and scope of the roadmap, and how we will evaluate the success of the project. - Gathering feedback and input from all interested parties, business unit clients, and system users on what they need and expect from an ERP system. - Reviewing our current processes, current enterprise systems and business requirements. - Exploring the available options and solutions for enhancing our ERP system. - Conducting market research and recommending an approach that meets the needs of The City and fulfills business requirements. - Communicating and consulting with interested parties throughout the project to ensure engagement, support and system strategy alignment.
- Work with process owners and the HR Management Team to create and maintain the HR technology roadmap in alignment with HRs Technology priority principles. - Act as the steward for myHRconnect/PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) to ensure these systems continue to meet the HR needs of the corporation. - Leverage industry trends, innovations, systems and HR best technology practices to drive innovation and continuous business process improvement within the HR line of service. - Work collaboratively with cross functional teams from across the corporation to design, implement, support, and execute on HR system and process improvements. - Manage project resources and capital funding to deliver projects on time and on budget. - Partner with clients, Information Technology (IT), and vendors to ensure the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), HR Case Management System continue to meet the needs of the organization. - Provide leadership to a team of professionals that deliver business analysis, change management, and project management services to Human Resources.
