I am currently an Associate Director Cloud Network Security Architecture at the Center for Health Information & Analyst (CHIA), Massachusetts.
Responsible for managing, supporting and troubleshooting CHIA's cloud environment. Assists with network and security policies and design. Manages various security solutions, including web filter, firewalls, monitoring tools, anti-virus, and mentors team members on these tools. Assists with general IT issues with flexibility.
In addition to duties in the Information Security Engineer and Cyber Security Analyst roles, became more involved in the management of the cloud and Azure environments, including shifting from data center to cloud, and the overall development of the Azure cloud environment.
Optimized a more complex and stable web filter environment. Implemented improved security controls and administered the agency's firewalls, anti-malware solution, and Active Directory environment. Primary actor in hands-on incident response.
Research, Data Entry, Run Taste Tests on various foods consisting of MREs and other types of foods, Run Consumer Panels in support of research in sensory, consumer, and cognitive science. *Worked Summers/Winters from June 2010 to August 2012
