Steven C. Weber National Sales Manager - Life Insurance / Brokerage at Transamerica Life Insurance Company. Steve’s career in financial services spans over 25 years, and since joining Transamerica in July 1999, he has established himself as a knowledgeable and creative resource for advisors throughout the financial services industry. Steve was asked to head the Life Insurance and Long Term Care distribution unit for Transamerica’s Investment and Retirement division. In this role, Steve creates the strategies and manages the teams that guide Transamerica in its efforts to help advisors see their clients to and through the retirement journey. Personable and engaging, Steve is a passionate keynote speaker. His vast knowledge on Social Security, retirement planning and the challenges of making an income last a lifetime have made him a well-recognized presenter. He has coached, and presented to, thousands of clients, financial advisors and CPAs on strategies to help clients create enjoyable retirements with sustainable incomes. Steve holds RICP® and CRPC® designations, as well as FINRA Series 6, 63, 65, 7 and 24 licenses. He earned an Economics degree from Stanford University, with additional studies at Oxford University in England. Steve has worked for several of the industry’s top companies, including Smith Barney, Kidder Peabody, Inc., and the Chubb Insurance Companies. Steve lives with his wife, Jeanette, and their two sons in Northern California. In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, hiking, all things Italian, and outdoor sports, especially Stanford football.
