Examples of achievements: - To train and supervise government teams for the inventory and environmental risk assessment of obsolete pesticide stocks (Middle East, Africa); - Conduct environmental and health risk assessments of pesticide contaminated sites (Africa); - Organise and deliver a Training of Trainers on obsolete pesticide management (Middle East); - Train country teams in use of FAO web based Pesticide Stock Management System (Africa); - Prepare the procurement of professional equipment and the tendering of specialist contractors; - Review and finalisation of two FAO guidelines on pesticides safeguarding; - Review or assist country teams in the development of project documents (work plan, result framework, budget) and of National environmental assessment plans for safeguarding and disposal of obsolete pesticides.
Technical review and rewriting of the Macedonian Handbook on obsolete pesticides and persistent organic pollutants management.
Project management and prospecting in the field of waste and resources management. I have conducted multifaceted projects such as: - Environmental impact assessment for a biogas plant for farm and agro-industrial organic waste. - Coordinate the annual national campaign for waste and resources management “Chasse au trésor” for French-speaking Switzerland. - Organise and lead a workshop on organic waste management. - Implement and supervise 13 on-site construction waste management systems, including one with environmental monitoring. - Realise inventory of potentially hazardous substances in building with recommendation fact sheets for material maintenance, demolition and disposal. - Conduct asbestos identification in buildings with risk assessment. - Organise transboundary transfers of hazardous waste (asbestos). - Consultancy to improve the informal and industrial recycling of electronic waste in Bangalore (India). - Implement the company's ISO 9000/14001 certification. - Articles redaction in the Swiss bulletin for waste reduction and management Forum Déchets - Translate specialised and media documents (German and English to French).
