A leader with broad experience working on issues related to climate and Public Policy, natural resources governance, good governance, sustainable development, corporate sustainability, social justice, community development, social housing, anti-drug policy, community engagement, and Negotiation. I've worked 13 years for the Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N. V in areas including land management, communications strategy, community relations, sustainability and policy analysis. My work has included providing strategic advice to Ministers, senior Capacity Building teams, NGO's and Boards of Directors across many sectors (transport, mining, oil and gas, tourism, health). I've collaborated with international organizations such as UNICEF, IDB, IsDB, OAS, UNDP and EU. My private businesses concerns Traditional Wellness, nature-tourism, managing operations & logistics and community relations advice.
Providing consultancy services to companies in the mining sector, e.g. operations management, logistical management, assistance in onboarding of new companies in Suriname, community relations etc.
Developing National Policy on Drugdemand reduction- and - supply reduction, advising the government on; drugpolicies, -issues and -strategies as well as monitoring the implementation of the National Drugsmasterplan.
