As someone who’s spent years at the frontlines of Application Security, I’ve seen the hard work, commitment, and constant vigilance it takes to keep today’s software safe. Now, with AI rapidly reshaping the landscape, we’re facing a paradox: AI offers groundbreaking potential to enhance security, yet it introduces new and often unseen vulnerabilities. Many in our field feel a mix of excitement and apprehension, recognizing AI’s possibilities but cautious about its risks. I get it; it’s a love/hate relationship. But what drives us forward is knowing that with the right guidance, AI doesn’t have to be a double-edged sword. My goal is to bring clarity to this noisy space, empowering people and teams to embrace AI in ways that are smart, safe, and sustainable. Together, we’ll take the uncertainty out of this transition, unlocking a future where we can fully leverage AI’s capabilities without losing sight of security or our peace of mind. I sit at the intersection of product strategy, AI innovation, and real-world security practice, helping shape how Check Point builds, positions, and delivers security for AI-driven applications and agentic systems. As a member of the product organization, I work closely with engineering, research, and go-to-market teams to guide product direction and long-term strategy for AI security, ensuring what we build reflects how AI systems actually behave in production, not how traditional security models assume they behave. Externally, I serve as a practitioner voice for the AI security community leading hands-on workshops, public speaking, industry events, and executive briefings to help organizations understand the emerging risks of AI, LLMs, and agentic architectures, and how to secure them responsibly and pragmatically. AI is one of the most transformative technologies in centuries. I believe education across engineers, security teams, business leaders, and individuals, is now critical to both corporate resilience and personal survival in an AI-driven world.
