"The best way to predict the future is to create it" Twenty years building and running teams – fifteen of them in B2B tech – will teach you where the real problems live. Not in the strategy. And not just in the team. In the space and the stories between them. I've spent my career working in those in-between spaces. Between the people building features and customers paying for benefits – which is often the most expensive translation no one budgets for. Between American ambition and European execution. Between the strategy that makes sense on paper and the team that has to believe it enough to deliver it. That work has taken me through startups, scale-ups, and PE-backed companies – leading marketing, operations, and people through two acquisitions, and into the rooms where the decisions actually get made. What I've come to believe: the best teams aren't built on pressure – they're built on trust. Psychological safety isn't soft; it's the precondition for bold moves and real accountability. And a leader who feels responsible for everything becomes the ceiling on their team's performance. Outside of work, I find inspiration in nature, architecture, and movement – hiking, traveling, yoga, meditation, and chasing the perfect light with my camera. Always up for a conversation that challenges assumptions and sparks something new. -- Some books currently shaping how I see the world: The Creative Act – Rick Rubin · Courage is Calling – Ryan Holiday · The Comfort Book – Matt Haig · Radical Candor – Kim Scott · Obviously Awesome – April Dunford · The Culture Code – Daniel Coyle
Lead marketing for Tango, a US-based, PE-backed enterprise SaaS company, as a member of the executive leadership team. Kept Marketing and GTM stable through a major leadership transition, rebuilding the marketing organisation and contributing to company strategy, culture and employee engagement. Aligned narrative, GTM and operating model to support scalable growth.
Led the post-acquisition integration of the international (Locatee) teams into Tango — aligned functions with their US counterparts and transitioned people into their final teams. Integrated the marketing organisation into Tango's, and folded the Locatee offering into Tango's product portfolio. Owned the change management and transformation the integration required.
Engaged in a multi-year, intensive leadership partnership with Mathias Fritzen, focusing on the "Next Level Coaching" framework to expand professional capacity and personal awareness. Over the course of four years, I have moved beyond traditional management theory into "Direct Experience"; integrating inner work with outer leadership results. This partnership has been instrumental in scaling my ability to lead through complexity and high-pressure environments. Key Pillars of Development: - Radical Personal Responsibility: Shifting from reactive patterns to conscious choice-making, ending the "victim/hero" cycle in organizational dynamics. - New Perspectives: Utilizing a "bird’s-eye view" to identify and dissolve systemic bottlenecks and personal glass ceilings. - Integrated Leadership: Bridging the gap between rational strategy and emotional intelligence to foster a culture of clarity, strength, and authentic values. - The Art of "Being": Developing the capacity to "be yourself fully" while navigating high-stakes professional demands.
Second exit: Locatee acquired by Tango. Part of the deal team through the sale process, working with the co-CEOs, CFO, board and the acquirer. Restructured the company and ran the sale process under pressure while keeping the team focused.
Built and scaled the marketing team, including the outbound function. Contributed to setting overall company strategy as part of the leadership team. Supported the Series A+ fundraise — worked directly with the two co-founders on the investor narrative and content. Led Locatee's expansion into North America from Europe: opened the US office and made the first hires. When Locatee lost its largest client and the team was heavily downsized, stepped beyond marketing to keep the small team focused and steady through the reductions and into the acquisition.
"You know Google Analytics? Same but for office space"... is how I describe Locatee to my Marketing friends. The longer version goes as follow: Locatee is the leading workplace analytics solution that brings you clarity on how your office space is used so you can cut unnecessary costs and create an optimal workplace experience for your people – based on accurate, reliable data from your existing infrastructure. No additional hardware needed.
