This group performs transient pipeline and process simulations with Olga and Hysys. March 2008 – December 2011. Maintenance, Modification and Operation (MMO) projects on Statfjord A, B and C, and Snorre A and B. Participated in multiple projects.
Concept studies of offshore production facilities and design of help systems on a multipurpose rig. The concept studies included sizing of process modules, and the help systems on the multipurpose rig included ballast, bilge, cooling water, fresh water, diesel, instrument air and air ventilation systems.
Research in biomass co-firing in suspension-fired power plants. Main topics: Biomass co-firing in laboratory-scale swirl burner; development of CFD modelling tools including particle reactivity and deposit formation; turbulence and chemical reaction modelling.
