Grascan Construction Limited leads the construction industry with multiple projects within the Metrolinx rail corridor. To further grow the company, Grascan Construction Limited is expanding its Rail Division. As the Assistant Manager of rail , I lead a team of Site Access Coordinators. To further develop the rail division I am responsible for building team structure including safety management systems, standard operating procedures, job aids, training programs, and onboarding new hires. Additionally, I liaise with all stakeholders to develop plans for track access, track protection and construction.
Part of a new Internal Metrolinx Audit Team that are developing processes, standards and recommendations in relation to audits. Involved in developing engagement letters, audit plans, and reports. Initiates and conducts meeting with relevant stakeholders. CROR Rules Qualified in April 2022, Track Inspection Guidelines (TIG) Qualified Track Inspector in July 2022, LEAN Fundamentals trained.
Directly involved on site in increasing production and ensuring safety compliance on multiple Metrolinx owned projects. Completed Managing in a Matrix Training, completed Coaching for Results Training, Acting Manager of RCAC, Metrolinx PTS Training Facilitator, Involved in numerous Metrolinx pilot projects, worked closely with project delivery teams, track protection providers and construction contractors to ensure accountability and provide value to Metrolinx construction projects. CROR Rules Qualified.
