Since, 2006, VetStrategy has focused on building, maintaining and managing a growing network of independent veterinary clinics across Canada. 100% Canadian owned, the approach is simple and a successful formula : acquire an ownership interest in veterinary clinics and animal hospitals and then partner with the veterinary practitioner to assist in managing the practice and supporting growth initiatives. As Chief Financial Officer, I am the senior finance executive tasked with supporting the organization's business and growth strategies by: - overseeing and leading Accounting, Financial reporting, Planning and Analysis and Financial Control functions - supporting M&A, Corporate Development, Investment and Value Creation activities During my tenure at VetStrategy, I was the finance leader that oversaw a period of rapid and extensive growth where the business grew from 36 to 230+ hospitals, and revenue and EBITDA increased ~6 fold and ~10 fold, respectively
Executing against Bureau Veritas' North American M&A growth strategy, including: - providing market intelligence and data on market segments of interest - sourcing, originating and qualifying prospective acquisition prospects - co-ordinating and participating in due diligence activities - financial modelling, creating business cases and approval documents - constructing deal structures and negotiating agreements
