I have over 20 years’ experience as senior manager / director with responsibilities for cross-functional and multi-disciplined teams. I have 2 directorships requiring different time commitments, but my style of management is a calm, confident, concise one allowing me to be a positive, passionate and eloquent influencer. Strong interpersonal skills help me when managing a team enabling me to be a great motivator. I have good strategic vision ensuring that ongoing reviews of long-term objectives take place without losing sight of the practical necessities of managing teams and projects to achieve short-term targets. I have experience of working in large multi-national organisations, SMEs, start-ups and the public sector. My main business activities are as CEO at WELL Training at it sets off a growth phase having won some external investment, As Director for PPG Consulting Ltd, an independent business & IT consultancy. Also, a co-founder of IT Skills Management Company Ltd which trades as Intequal, a training company focusing on providing IT apprenticeships nationally which was recently sold to one of the UK’s largest apprenticeship training providers. As part of our activity, PPG founded a US Apprenticeship consultancy, Franklin Apprenticeships LLC in 2016. In my personal life, I am married with two grown children and enjoy participating, as well as supporting, a variety of local groups plus local charities, working hard to improve both the community as well as creating opportunities for local businesses. The breadth of my experience both in my business career and social life alongside my commitment to take projects to a successful conclusion make me an asset to any team.
