Business Unit Polymer Additives. • Ensuring full compliance with all legal requirements under the COMAH Regulations and the applicable standards of LANXESS. This includes process safety and hazard analyses (HAZOPs) • Member of Major Emergency Control Team (MEC) • Ensuring safety awareness and operational diligence as well as risk assessment of all site activities • Line Management of all departments on site (Production, Engineering & Maintenance, HSEQ, Controlling). • Definition of site strategy and budget planning in alignment with the business unit and its execution • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations as well as productivity improvements • Management of interfaces to Country Management UK, Business Unit, SCM, Marketing, HR, Procurement, Controlling • Accountable for all Production & Technology related targets and KPIs • Ensure good external Community, Industry and Regulatory relationships • Ensure successful set-up and execution of strategic projects of the Business Unit at the Trafford Park site • Definition and overall control of the Capex projects on site in alignment with the Business Unit
Business Unit Polymer Additives. • Management of the Maintenance and Engineering Department at the Lanxess uper tier COMAH production site Trafford Park • Line management of site engineers and superintendents and external engineering contracts • Fully responsible for the site maintenance and project budget • Assurance that day to day maintenance measures are carried out in time and according the Site and Lanxess safety standards. And if required, ensure bad actors have been identified • Identification, planning and realization of maintenance projects to ensure a long-term safe and reliable plant operation • Part of strategical corporate projects and assurance that site standards and requirements are fulfilled • Ensure technical Compliance meets the legal and corporate requirements. • Part of the Site HAZOP team to guarantee that those are planned accordingly and measures are realized in a given time • Part of a strategic project to introduce a new production line • Identification of organizational gaps and redundancies with development and implementation of a new organizational structure • Implementing of a new engineering documentation, reporting and controlling system • Part of the SAP Asset Managment migration team
