Configured equipment for planned wells to meet client service requirements and provided expert advice to the client about drilling practices and equipment limitations in various drilling environments. Met daily with the client to discuss progress, technical issues and potential additional sales/services to meet client needs. Led failure investigations both on site and in the shop including making recommendations for changes to procedures and equipment as well as helping to determine compensation and closing all events with client representatives. Prepared and submitted daily cost sheets, monthly invoices to the client, and 3 month internal revenue projections vs plan varying between $1.6 million and $3.8 million per month. Managed personnel development, training requirements, and days off for 3-5 additional engineers at any one time assuring the development of our intellectual assets and continuing service quality in the event of departure of key personnel. Initiated Lean projects designed to decrease waste and inefficiencies including designing a new, standardized offshore toolbox containing tools, spare parts, instrumentation, and procedures for use in Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon. Developed Standard Operating Procedures for Schlumberger services provided to Hess Equatorial Guinea including nuclear safety procedures and service delivery procedures.

Coordinated logistics with the client from the rig including shipment of nuclear sources, people, and over $20 million worth of equipment that required shipment via trucks and boats to and from the rig site without any associated down time. Interpreted and prepared confidential well logs in real-time and recorded mode including density image, sonic, and drilling mechanics data for client geologists on the rig and in Houston, including preparation of the final product for delivery. Calibrated and prepared equipment including quality checks between runs and before initial use to determine whether equipment was in condition to be used and trouble-shooting any associated failures that were found to exist.

Attended Schlumberger training courses totaling 11 weeks with a focus on Resistivity and Nuclear measurements as well as safety, teamwork, and accountability in the workplace culminating in a presentation to management and peers about the functionality, and applications of Schlumberger tools and equipment as well as technological support and services provided to clients.

    Worked as a member of a team of 8 pipefitters to build various systems of an offshore oil production platform based off of piping and instrument diagrams including firewater system and pump alignment for eventual installation in Brazil. Chosen after 2 months on the job to fill in for the crew foreman for a week during his paternity leave. Supervised 7 other pipefitters with experience varying between 6 months and 10 years, coordinating work with welding teams and other pipefitting teams as well as site superintendent. High productivity allowed the foreman to take an additional week off.
