North Region Financial Auditor for Fridays
Responsibility for supporting all Retail Audit services across the globe, including resource planning, audit delivery, qualifications, and KPI's of both NSF's Integrity program and clients expectations. Cost Management of $15M expense budget for Retail Audit Delivery Globally across a team in excess of 200 full-time employees and Independent contractors. Working in a matrix organization, balancing multiple stakeholders and their interests, and interact with all organization levels.
Responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Retail Safety Audit, Technical Services, Supply Chain Audit and Operational Administration teams to ensure the client facing and internal service is delivered efficiently with the highest level of integrity and consistency, whilst promoting innovation and development of services to embrace ever changing business and client needs in the UK and across central Europe. Overseeing the delivery of an effective recruitment process to ensure competent teams are available at all times to service the business needs using a combination or full time, part time and sub-contract resource. Prepare and manage annual budgets for multiple cost centres within my control including delivery and support functions driving efficiency, productivity and profit whilst maintaining morale and team engagement with the strategic and financial goals. Working with the Business Development team and Client Directors in the growth of organic revenues with existing clients and progression of services to new clients, by offering direction and creativity for the services offered & pricing opportunities to deliver margin and volume. Work closely with colleagues throughout NSF in the US and UK to ensure the EMEA and corporate strategic objectives are achieved.
Developing and Improving the existing Risk Management Framework, influencing Senior Management and Exec Members, embedding a Risk ethos throughout the Operational, IT, Commercail, Property, Financial, HR and Support Departments within the Company whilst balancing the need to allow for a highly fluid, flexible and operationally asstute approach to support the retailing practices of the Managed and Leased Pubs, Restaurants and Hotels. Reporting to the Audit Committee on Risk Management and Mitigation activities and controls. Liasing with external Internal Audit suppliers for specialist IA delivery. Leading the Internal and Operational Audit Teams, developing and audit programmes to mitigate operational and process risks.
Managing cash, stock and operational risk within the 800 Managed Pub estate with a team of 8 field based Operational Auditors.
