    I led the development of the West of England Sport Trust (Wesport) out of local authority control to independence, creating a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity (April 2006). Skills and experience gained include creating and implementing a vision for Wesport, recruiting high quality trustees, recruiting and managing the team, day to day, governance and financial responsibilities linked to independent status. With my team, we have particularly demonstrated improvements in services to National Governing Bodies of Sport, coaching and volunteering services, and event planning / management.
