Fortunately, I enjoy it and it seems to be where my strengths are. The world of software changes so quickly and so often, so I'm always learning more about it. I care a lot about software simplicity, usability, scalability, reliability, and performance. But above all, I care about making software that makes life easier for the user.
Feature Upvote is a feedback management tool. It lets your team and customers suggest and upvote improvements, surfacing the best ideas to improve your product. We initially created Feature Upvote to help us track our own customers' suggestions, after finding Jira struggled with this task. Feature Upvote is now translated into many languages and used by companies around the world.
I started Barbary Software in 2008. We help organisations gather and manage customer feedback. Our products: * Feature Upvote offers feature request tracking. We created Feature Upvote to help us track our own customers' suggestions, and soon made it available to other companies. It is popular with product managers who need a way to track feature requests. * Saber Feedback is a feedback widget you can embed on your website.
I helped teams in the banking industry create reliable, secure, and fast web applications. Notable clients were the European Central Bank and Dresdner Bank.
In this position, I played a senior role in connecting the IT systems of Deutsche Post with eBay.
I co-founded and led this boutique IT consultancy and grew it to a team of ten consultants. Customers included a roster of Australian household names.
