I was in charge of 3 schedulers who scheduled the shop floor. I entered forecasts, changed Item Masters and worked with BOM's and Routing to get the product made efficiently. I worked with load reports to shift work to under utilized workcenters.
I was at Briggs for about 16 years. the last six years, I worked on all new engines being developed for production in a production control aspect. I had to make sure the components were made and ready for the three types of trial runs before the engine was ready to go into production. Worked to make sure BOM's and routings were correct and with purchasing and manufacturing to make sure we had the parts on time for the scheduled runs.
