Responsible for delivery of all site maintenance, achieving product and service delivery to a high standard, ensuring all maintenance issues were actioned in all areas belonging to The Mere Golf Resort & Spa. When I took over the department there was evidence statutory PPM’s were not being undertaken and the SOP’s were not fit for purpose. I devised and developed statutory planned and reactive maintenance programmes which were undertaken and completed within a set time scale. I have implemented a complete review of risk assessments and safe systems of work in all areas of the business to ensure they were fit for purpose devising new assessments where necessary, provided training for fellow managers on Risk Assessments. Ensured weekly fire alarm tests and evacuation drills were carried out, conducting reviews into all accidents and near misses. During the first twelve months as the Maintenance (Safety) Manager I raised the overall score on the LRQA H&S audit from 52 % to 93 % I developed team members through training and coaching that met the needs of the business and individual needs Accountable for agreed department and H&S budget.
