• Provide both functional and strategic leadership to the UK and Ireland affiliate and the UK site • Responsible for all elements of decision support, accounting, financial planning, and internal controls for the UK and Ireland affiliate (revenue of over $400 million), the financials of R&D at the UK site and running of the UK facility. • Provide direction and leadership to 12 UK employees across a number of functions • Ensure compliance with all statutory financial requirements • Responsible for financial leadership of 5 additional affiliates across Europe (Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria, Belgium and Portugal) • Provide leadership and development for all heads of finance within the 5 affiliates • Ensure compliance with all Biogen and external financial and company requirements
• Led financial planning processes, including budgets, forecasts and long range plans • Manage two employees in affiliate and R&D financial positions • Produced insightful management reporting to include actual performance versus forecasts and budgets for the UK and Ireland affiliate • Set targets, incentive plans and calculate bonus payments for sales teams • Management of the UK financial planning and accounting of R&D activities • Provide salesforce support for Siebel / Insights CRM systems and creation of dashboards
