• Responsible for building BFF microservices in preparation for the launch of customer service live chat functionality for a Saudi Arabian challenger banking app • Developed continuous integration Gitlab pipelines used across multiple teams to allow for the deploy and release of banking microservices
• Interviewed, hired and mentored a junior software engineer by helping her with both technical and soft skill development • Developed a Gartner award winning CLI toolkit (NodeJS) allowing the automatic deployment of APIs to Azure; not only standardising and validating APIs but also meeting the banks legal obligations • Fixed dozens of bugs and issues relating to the deployment and operation of the Open Banking initiative
• Developed multiple data visualisation UIs (ChartJS) that allowed customers to examine order information on a regional basis • Retrofitted various microservices in support of GDPR compliance and built the functionality to allow scrubbing of databases containing PPI data
