Supporting the growth of simulator based training in the UAE. Having worked with high end simulating training products for the private, the public, the governmental and the defence sectors has helped me grow from a hard-core mathematical modeller towards the head of the technological department to deliver custom, client specific training solutions.
Lead of the Technical Department teams: Product Engineering, Software Engineer, Quality - Assurance and Content development. - Translated the management needs in a resource allocated for perfect project and product releases for NAUTIS and RS. - Set the vision and the roadmap together with the Product Team for NAUTIS and RS. - Approved the scope of the features with the technical team. - Discussed the priorities and found solutions for all impediments. - Set the vision and the roadmap for the framework. - Negotiated and maintained all suppliers needed for the Software Development. - Did the recruitment, the performance assessment, identified training needs and empowered the Technical Department on a daily basis with a vision for the future. - Successfully applied to subsidies. - Set up the sharepoint environment and needed automation for the Technical Department. - Developed the ISO procedures for all inter and intra department related work
