About

I’ve been with the ILO for 20 years, and what keeps me here is the same thing that first drew me in: the chance to turn ideas about fairness and opportunity into something real. Currently I manage a large ILO development cooperation programme focused on creating inclusive growth and decent jobs. I’m very committed to the people side of leadership. I wasn’t born a natural people-person, so I put a lot of effort into building my self-awareness and understanding our human messiness that shapes how we work and behave. It makes me a better manager and helps me support my team. Along the way, I have been very fortunate to have learned from exceptional people around the world, and I try to pass that on through coaching and mentoring.
