Stephen is a member of the Executive Board and is the Chief Strategy and Technology Officer. With over 30 years experience with PwC serving in Global, UK and Middle East roles, Stephen has served on the Middle East Board for the past 14 years and as Markets leader has been instrumental in the exponential growth of the Firm. Stephen is responsible for strategy, investment, growth and technology with a focus on new transformational areas in AI and sustainability. He founded the PwC Em-Tech team 10yrs ago, and now leads our overall commercial technology teams including our Centres of Excellence focused on AI working on the most iconic AI programmes in the region. Stephen also founded and sponsors the Middle East Sustainability Practice the largest multi-discipline sustainability practice in the region driving strategy through execution for our clients in decarbonisation, energy transition, circular economy, the built environment, climate finance and nature. He is inspired by the intersection between climate and technology. He is a specialist in advisory services to global financial services institutions and sovereign wealth funds in strategy, risk, finance and technology. Stephen continues to serve as the Global Relationship Partner on global accounts building board and C-level relationships. He is a qualified FCA from the UK. Passionate, and regular conference speaker, on macro-socio economics, transformation, upskilling, sustainability and all things AI. Stephen created and hosts the Reimagining our Region Webcasts, initiated to support our clients through the pandemic, with 1,000s of regular attendees for the past 5 years. He has published several papers focused on macro-socio transformation in our region. Member of the Strategy& Ideation Centre Board. Swims, bikes and runs a fair amount.
