Project SEARCH is a year long work expierence programme in Naas Hospital for young adults with Intellectual Disabilities who have aspirations to gain employment. The Project offers on-site training and support to enable the participants to gain real employment skills. The opportunity to learn in the workplace environment is a key element to this innovative programme. Project SEARCH serves people with intellectual disabilities through innovative workforce and career development. Through this process we educate employers about the potential of this underutilized workforce while meeting their human resource needs.
