Managed supplier quality source selection, procurement, incoming inspection, and source inspection processes and infrastructure for $500M annual material procurement. • Cut 2 shift inspection operation (60 inspectors) cycle time 25%, utilizing lean principles. • Reduced incoming and floor defects of supplied product 20% by implementing multiple Cost of Quality (CoQ) projects. • Ensured best quality supplied material by overseeing Approved Supplier List (ASL), strategic technology sourcing and strategic commodity supplier selection, utilizing audit and assessment processes. • Minimized customer escapes by conducting continuous improvement defect prevention team (DPT) and customer corrective action request (CAR) responses with US government DCMA customer.
Directed cost, schedule, and technical performance of $12M subcontract for 3 Electronic Equipment Units (EEUs) at Gichner Shelter Systems (GSS) and associated Raytheon Supply Chain, Engineering & Quality support labor. • Requalified GSS for EEU cold start production, including wall construction to EEU bonding specification and over 2,000 first articles (FAI), collaborating with and mentoring GSS leadership team. • Achieved 100% on time delivery and robust supplier-partner relationship with GSS by executing quick turn supplier information request technical responses and fixed price change notice cost negotiation. • Ensured 100% timely Missile Defense Agency (MDA) government customer approval for rain, road, power & EMI qualification test, subcontractor audits, and government source inspection by collaborating with MDA counterparts.
