I founded and led Bates Hanson Consulting, establishing the business from start-up through to sustained and profitable operation. This included full responsibility for commercial structuring, contract negotiations, project delivery, insurance arrangements, accounting systems, fee proposals, and operational set-up. I built a consulting model focused on delivering hands-on practical, implementation-led outcomes for professional services clients with annual revenues ranging from $15m to $30m. Working closely with founders, partners, and executive teams, I supported organisations to diagnose and address operational challenges across multiple areas of the business. My engagements extended beyond advisory work into hands-on implementation and leadership of change initiatives.
