In this role, my most significant accomplishment was a project supporting the network operations centers migration from eyes on glass monitoring to full auto-ticketing by specifying changes to IBM Netcool rule sets. I really enjoyed the analysis portion where I had to review the alarm and event stream from the network elements and determine what was actionable or could be correlated into a single actionable alert ticket. Member of an elite group of customer-facing support engineers for the Lumen Public Cloud platform. This devops-based team had a culture of extreme teamwork and continuous improvement. With heavy focus on process and automation, this team provided top tier support for incidents, and customer requests. I specialized in the cloud network infrastructure and IPSEC VPNs on Juniper SRX as well as supporting the VMWare based compute infrastructure and Cloud Platform application.
