Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all of the building and equipment repairs for the hospital and medical office building and I was required to meet a myriad of state and federal regulations. Participated on both the disaster and safety recovery committees working on planning and implementing of hospital policies and procedures.
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the building and equipment repairs for the 250 bed hospital and medical office building and was require to meet a myriad of state and federal regulations. Participated on both the disaster and safety committees working on planning and implementing of hospital procedures. I was the fire safety director for the hospital. Responsible for the implementation of an in house construction (35 member) crew consisting of carpenters, painter, tapers/plasters, electricians, and plumbers. This group developed and built our medical offices and a small surgical center. Project manager on several other outside contracted construction projects. In-house OSHPD inspector of record for multiple hospital construction projects including a 30 bed birthing center with 30 hospital rooms.
Completed my apprenticeship at this location and left there for my first Chief Engineer position as the Assistant Chief Engineer of Operations. Responsible for scheduling, staffing, budgeting and equipment procurement for the 24 hour boiler and generation plants.
