Stephen manages the installation department at Encore Audio/Video, and in doing so, oversees all designs and installations, is responsible for all operations in the department, including metrics analysis. He is heavily involved in creating and presenting curriculum to educate the local design professionals as an accredited IDCEC and CEDIA instructor. The role also includes seeking new revenue streams through product and services, and B2B relationships. As an accredited LEED Green Associate, Stephen takes a unique approach to incorporate green design; he is an expert in harnessing technology to assist with energy conservation and management. As an AIA and NWSID Industry Partner, his designs also encompass personalized, lifestyle solutions that are easy to use while maintaining interior aesthetics. Stephen has 23 years’ experience in the audio/video/automation/ technology industry as a manufacturer, installer, programmer, and designer. Additionally, he is a music lover and a trained classical guitarist that also enjoys playing in the jazz and rock idioms. Stephen holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in music and business, is a certified lighting designer, and has been awarded credentials from CEDIA, GBCI, Control4, and American Lighting Association, as well as being a limited energy technician and administrator in both Oregon and Washington.
