Has extensive knowledge in different piping design industries such as Petrochemical/ Refinery Plant, Offshore (FPSO Conversion), Jack-up rig, Semi-sub rig, Poly-silicon Plant, Mining and Power plants. Has solid experience in the following piping activities: Plot Plan Arrangement, Equipment Layout, Piping Key Plan, Piping General Arrangement, Pipe Supports, Piping Isometrics, Material Take-Off, Piping standard drawings.
Reviews project specifications, administrative and technical practices, design instructions, plot plan, flow diagrams, and supplier information. Performs manual/computer layouts using specifications, standard drawings, design instructions, plot plan, flow diagrams, line list and supplier information. Develops detailed Plot Plan Arrangement, Equipment Layout, Piping Key Plan, Piping General Arrangement, Pipe Supports, and Material Take-Offs. Prepares & complete piping drawings, isometric, stress and material sketches. Check, back check, and correct assigned piping models, drawings and isometrics. Communicates and interfaces with other project design and engineering disciplines. Check other department's design drawings and supplier equipment drawings. Update master flow diagrams and Location Control Plan. Manage all the members involved in the project and maintain good rapport. Ensure that the error rate is within milestone set by the project.

Uses Intergraph & Equipment Modeller in developing conceptual piping design layout. Communicates and interfaces with other project design and engineering disciplines. Completes computer drawings and isometrics using, Microstation and Smart Plant Review. Check, back check, and computer drawings and isometrics. Responsible in Detailed Engineering Design Phase. Responsible in squad checking of supplier equipment drawings. Update master flow diagrams as per practical piping design layout. Involved in developing piping plot plan from model to Microstation. Reports progress to the project piping area/unit supervisor.
Reviews, implements project and job specification. Carries out basic and detailed engineering design including calculations and analysis as per project requirements. Prepares and updates material take-off for project procurement and bid proposals. Assists in preparing cost estimate for tender proposal. Coordinates with other disciplines on new process requirements, design interference check and design changes. Adheres to ISO quality requirements in the execution of works. Instructs, supervises, manages and monitors the Designer and Draftsman in the course of work. Provides technical assistance to construction team. Attends site check/verification. Adheres to drawing checking procedure. Performs piping selection, routing, plant layout, pipe specification, pipe stress calculation, etc.
