• Lead a team of production operators to achieve production targets daily. • My role is to ensure production operators assemble, test and handle all products in line with the documented specification and processes, thus ensuring that all products supplied to our customers are to the highest possible quality levels and conform to all specification requirements. • Productivity, working part of the manufacturing team to produce the correct number of products in line with the production plans as communicated by the Operations team. I managed the operations of 7 contracts on a 3PL site, with overall responsibility and accountability for Safety, Service, Cost and Profit, reporting directly to the Regional General Manager. I did this by leading a team of 50 permanent staff and up to 30 casual staff, which includes 4 supervisors, 3 charge hands, 5 stock clerks and 38 warehouse operatives. The main duties of this role were to lead a safety focused team empowered to make decisions with full support from me. Also to plan, revise then redeploy resources to the relevant contracts. I would have daily contact with my customers ensuring clear visibility of their business and costs. Together we would push boundaries so both parties would benefit through efficiency and profit.
