Currently working as drilling superintendent responsible for execution of P&A, drilling and completion operations on Oseberg South.
Drilling Superintendent responsible for permanent P&A of 10 Heimdal wells, responsible for the operational execution, compliance with governing rules and regulations, total risk analysis, as well as delivering according to approved time and cost budgets. The work was performed using a small footprint modular drilling rig mobilized for the project. During execution the Scope of Work was increased to include cutting and pulling of csg/conductors from below seabed. The operation involved successful pulling, sectioning and backload of 13 3/8'' csg x 20'' csg x 30'' conductor including cemented annuli. The Project was concluded by drilling a horisontal well through the gas reservoir before demobilising the modular drilling rig well ahead of the planned P&A completion date.
Planning permanent P&A of Heimdal wells with a modular drilling rig. The work involved establishing optimised operational plans, updating relevant governing documents, conducting risk assessments, preparing contract tenders, evaluation and contract awards, as well as following up partners and authorities.
Logging engineer for open and cased hole wireline operations onboard fixed and floating installations. Worked with exploration logging and cased hole services offshore Norway and in the UK sector.
Worked with automation in the mechanical industry to optimize and improve efficiency in offshore fabrication facilities and shipyards, participating in project developments in Norway, France, Germany, Russia and USA.
Worked as subsea engineer, responsible for structural and FE analysis relating to evaluation of pipelines and risers integrity, pipe lay studies, J-tube pull-ins and routing optimization.
