Poulton-Le-Fylde, England, United Kingdom
I began my electrical journey back in 2006, stepping into maintenance in 2014, spending eight years on reactive and planned maintenance before moving into management. My goal was simple, to share my contract-specific knowledge and help shape how our team delivers exceptional service. Today, I manage a team of electricians and coordinators, overseeing reactive and planned electrical maintenance, periodic inspections, and monthly PPMs across one of the UK’s largest hotel chains, as well as entertainment, children’s care homes and other industries. Drawing on my years of site-specific experience, I estimate and deliver cost-effective repairs and upgrades across our estate, ensuring operations run safely and efficiently. I hold a City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 qualification, enabling me to lead on electrical inspection, initial verification, and periodic testing. One of my strengths is remotely guiding engineers to locate and rectify faults quickly, reducing downtime and keeping our clients’ operations moving. I’m passionate about team growth and customer satisfaction, and I’ve previously mentored the next generation of electricians through apprenticeships, something I consider one of the most rewarding parts of my career. As our department continues to grow from strength to strength, my focus remains on delivering the best possible service while supporting my team to develop their skills and confidence
