Service, maintain and repair security inspection systems across 10 locations in Kuwait in support of PM/FPS Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems program managed by prime contractor Huntington-Ingalls International. At primary location of Camp Arifjan, responsible for maintenance & repair of a total of 12 standalone and containerized inspection systems for baggage and personnel at site entry control checkpoints, military air terminals, postal operations and cargo facilities. Contract came up for renewal in January 2022 and was awarded to GDIT, who did not bring on board Rapiscan personnel.
Install, test, certify and maintain a broad array of x-ray inspection systems in support of renovations to Doha's older international airport, as well as maintain x-ray inspection systems at Doha's Hamad International Airport. Doha hosts the FIFA World Cup in 2022 and expects an enormous influx of visitors, making renovations to the older airport necessary to handle the increased volume of tourist activity. Rapiscan is an OEM subcontractor to WATAD Group Enterprises on this program. After successful installs of numerous systems, was tapped to augment the reduced footprint PM-FPS program in Kuwait.
