Taken over the Account Manager role and responsible for P&L, Budget, recruitment and running of Multi £m P/A.
Currently working with the Heart of England Foundation Trust at their Heartlands Hospital where i ensure that the service delivery for the Domestics department is completed to the required standards. Since arriving at Heartlands i have increased our visibility with the client and built close relationships with Estates teams, Infection control, Ward Matrons and Senior Sisters. Every day requires Pro-active and Re-active management of what is required, the Teams that i have working for me have to be able to work to high standards at all times. During my first year at Heartlands i designed and developed a matrix to speed up the process of Bed spaces and ensuring that the correct Infection clean was done. This was so successful that it was rolled out across the other 2 Hospitals in the Trust.
TUPE'd over from G4S to Amey and then was offered position with G4S at Birmingham Heartlands
Responsible for the day to day running of the Domestic services department at two hospitals within the NHS South Warwickshire Foundation Trust in Warwick and Stratford upon Avon. This includes recruitment, wage control, Health and Safety, Infection control, planning and working schedules to meet the strict standards of the NHS. In the past three years I have managed to successfully improve the standards to the highest level that the Trust have had over the past 13 years. I have successfully built excellent relations with the Trust for increasing standards to an all time high. Within the past three years I have successfully acted into the role of Deputy Contract manager when the Contract Manager is away. I am responsible for motivating staff and supervision to ensure they perform to their best and when the need arises I issue and conduct disciplinary procedures. I have also identified issues with the wages system that has highlighted flaws in the system which was subsequently reviewed to take the errors into account in order to enable a more accurate accounting system, enabling targets and budgets to be achieved and saving the organisation significant sums of money.
