Management of the cost of funds rate to devise an approved process for adapting the Cost of Funds methodology for changes in the balance sheet as a result of the UBIDAC phased withdrawal. Delivery of the weekly Cost of Funds Rate outputs used for customer pricing. Monitoring and challenging of key indicators through weekly MI and presentation to UBIDAC ALCo Committee on a monthly basis.
Managing review and delivery of the suite of liquidity reporting requirements that includes daily liquidity reports for the CBI/ECB and the PRA. Development of Funding and Liquidity strategy, production and presentation of annual ILAAP process, intraday liquidity management, liquidity and funding policy management, proposing risk appetite levels and liquidity contingency planning.
Extension of Head of Interest Rate Risk Management role to include additional responsibilities; Oversight of FTP process (methodology, policy and reporting area) and also the management of the Centre Income process (review and forecast activities for both base case and stress case outlooks).
Managing audit engagement teams and depending on client, reviewing financial statements and drafting reports to company management identifying weaknesses in the company’s systems and controls and making recommendations for their improvement.
