PM for the AGL Specialist sub-contractor for the PDO Fahud Runway Rehabilitation Project of new AGL system. Role included the new AGL design including upgrading to comply fully with Oman CAA CAR 139 Aerodrome requirements. CAA approve person for “Commissioning of Lighting Systems” for the project.
Airport Systems responsible for the operation, maintenance and training of Omani staff for the following mainly airside systems for opening the New Terminal on the 20th March 2018 • Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) • Visual Docking Guidance Systems (VDGS) • Apron Floodlighting • Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) • Ground Power Units (GPU) • Pre-Condition Air (PCA) • Vertical & Horizontal Transportation (VHT) (Elevators, Escalators, Walkalators)
Responsible for Airport Operator (OAMC) project related AGL works and ensuring close out with contractors and Technical Committee (Managing all Oman’s Aviation development projects) This include • Phase 2 works – remaining taxiways & aprons for Terminal opening in March 2018 • Original runway upgrade (resheet) design and tender specification • Interface for the ALCMS & A-SMGCS • Implementation of MALMS Engineer asset management system • Defects • Apron Floodlighting compliance • Documents – manuals & As Built drawings
Responsible for Airport Operator (OAMC), Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) design, compliance/certification, training , infield photometric inspections, maintenance procedures, plans, SOP’s for the opening/start-up operations for four (4) new Code 4F RWY's in 11 months all 4000 x 60 metre RWY's and TWY's between July 2014 to June 2015 – • Al Duqm Airport CAT II RWY - July 2014 • Sohar Airport CAT I RWY - Nov 2014 • Muscat International Airport CAT II RWY - Dec 2014 • Salalah Airport CAT II RWY - June 2015 • Ras Al Hadd Airport CAT I RWY – Completed, not in civil operation yet Develop OAMC AGL maintenance systems and training programs using infield photometric equipment to ensure each airport meets the highest standards and compliance.
